The Alberni Valley Drag Racing Association is a non-profit organization in Port Alberni, BC , Canada that is trying to bring true 1/4 mile drag racing back to Vancouver Island. The Association's founder Gary Brett has worked tirelessly for years to get this event off the ground and in 2001 it happened. In 2001 we used the Regional Airstrip for our races and we will continue to do this annually. We encourage you to join our Association and take part in the decision making process going on right now. There is a great deal to decide on and the more input we receive the better decisions we can make in the end.
